How to get to Cassis
International MRS Marseille Provence Airport, and MP2 (for low-cost carriers) (50 km from Cassis).
From the airport to Cassis costs approximately 120€. It is less expensive to take the airport bus (“navette”) to the Gare St. Charles central train station in Marseille and then a train to Cassis.
TGV to Marseille with a connecting train to Cassis. The train schedules can be found at www.voyages-sncf.com. Please note that the train station ticket machines might not accept all U.S. credit cards. You will then need to purchase your ticket at the counter.
The bus from Marseille (Castellane) to Cassis is M8. For more information about public transport in the region, consult Le Pilote website.
- From Marseille, Marseille Provence Airport, Aix-en-Provence, and Nice, reach highway A50, exit Carnoux-en-Provence (Exit #6) and then follow signs from Carnoux to Cassis.
- From Toulon, take highway A50 and exit Carnoux-en-Provence (Exit #8) and then follow signs from Carnoux to Cassis.
- Once in Cassis, follow the signs for La Presqu’île, Hôtel de la Rade, Hôtel Mahogany, and/or Les Calanques, Plage du Bestouan parking.
