Jerome at Camargo Programs

The Jerome Foundation seeks to contribute to a dynamic and evolving culture by supporting the creation, development, and production of new works by emerging artists in Minnesota and New York City. To recognize and celebrate their common founder, Jerome Hill, the Camargo and Jerome Foundations are close partners on a range of activities, which include the Jerome at Camargo residency programs.

The Jerome at Camargo initiative is an invitational grant program providing Jerome grantees with fellowships to do research and work at the Camargo Foundation. The Jerome at Camargo programs include opportunities for artists in all disciplines (in partnership with Art Matters), choreographers (in partnership with Movement Research), and environmental artists (in partnership with Saint John’s Pottery).

Art Matters and Jerome at Camargo

This artist residency opportunity is a partnership between Art Matters, Jerome Foundation and the Camargo Foundation, which provides artists time to think, create and reflect; learn from other artists and scholars; and connect with resources and opportunities in the Provence region in France. Four artists are selected through a call for Art Matters and Jerome grantees to participate in month-long residencies at Camargo Foundation.
