About the Partner

The Mucem based in Marseille is a museum dedicated to European and Mediterrenean civilizations, which opened in 2013. Its approach is multidimensional as it not only attempts to offer a pluridisciplinary outlook on Europe and the Mediterrenean Basin, but it also looks into how the histories of the different populations of the region can explain the struggles and issues its present inhabitants are enduring.
