Responding to the pandemic and the resulting rise of Black Lives Matter,  Nancy Arbuthnot sent this ink-and-watercolor meditation. The building in the background is an image of the White House in meltdown (Note the little orange-haired figure in the lower left corner). The black bird refers in part to the blackbird in the Beatles' song, a reference to civil rights demonstrations in 1968 in the U.S.
