White Cherry Blossoms in the Time of Corona

"I collected branches from my favorite cherry blossom trees, in Transmitter Park, by the East River.  In April they're covered with beautiful white blossoms and I brought some back to my home studio from daily walks.   These images come from the ten-foot scroll where I draw them, mixed in with some “covid” imagery as metaphor for the times. I also added some writing – thoughts, feelings, poems – painted out with watercolor."
