The Saint John's Pottery at Camargo

Art & Environment

About the Program

Saint John's Pottery, the Jerome Foundation and the Camargo Foundation have launched a joint six-week residency on art and the environment. Through this program, two artists are offered a residency at the Camargo Foundation.

Participating artists will exemplify the mission of The Saint John's Pottery through a commitment to the integration of art and life, the preservation of the environment, and the celebration of diverse cultures. Interaction with The Saint John's Pottery and the setting of Cassis provide a rich backdrop for artists to explore theles of environmental art, eco-mutualism, creative placemaking and relationships between humans and the natural world of the Anthropocene.
