Mahmoud Darwish Chair, Bozar, A. M. Qattan Foundation, Camargo Foundation and Mucem join forces for the first open call which honors the legacy of the Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish.
This open call encourages new, engaging narratives on the legacy of Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish and his influences on artistic and intellectual creation in the Arab, European, and Mediterranean contemporary world.
This first open call is launched with a curatorial statement by Elia Suleiman.

Camargo Core Program
The Core Program is the flagship program of the Camargo Foundation. Since 1971, the Camargo Foundation has awarded residencies to over 800 Core Program Fellows as part of its mission to support groundbreaking research, experimentation, and interdisciplinary approaches in the Arts and Humanities. Each year, an esteemed panel of scholars and arts professionals selects 18 individuals or teams.
- Camargo Core Program 2021—2022: The call for application is now closed. The deadline to apply was October 1, 2020. Applicants were contacted in April with the outcome of the selection process.
- Camargo Core Program 2022—2023: The call for application will be open from July to October 1, 2021. Applicants will be contacted in April 2022 with the outcome of the selection process.
