Camargo X EHESS

The call for applications for the EHESS x Camargo residencies is temporarily closed.

It will be available again in summer 2027. This closure allows the EHESS and Camargo Foundation teams to rethink the format of this residency, so that it is more relevant and better suited to the needs of researchers and artists.

Since 2020

The School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences (EHESS) and the Camargo Foundation are partnering to offer two residency grants at the Camargo Foundation for an artist (who must reside abroad) and a social science scholar. The aim of this program is to stimulate relations and exchanges between scholars and artists to develop projects at the interface between the social sciences and all areas of the arts, with a view to joint production. It is part of a reflection on the mutual enrichment resulting from the dialogue between creation and research, recently reinforced by the CRESS program (Creation - Research in the Social Sciences).

The call for applications for an EHESS x Camargo residency is open on a rolling basis throughout the year. A selection committee meets twice a year: in November and in June.
